Skills / Requirements

JOB SUMMARY:
Verifies all third party information with carriers, employers, and review agencies. Updates all benefits in A/R to ensure appropriate billing and reimbursement for services. Verifies all Third Party coverages. Obtains all authorizations, pre-certifications and referral specifics and updates account. Pre-registers patient for scheduled appointment by collecting patient demographic, employer, and insurance information (informing patient of what to bring on DOS and patient responsible amounts).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience: 3 years hospital/physician office/insurance related knowledge

Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract)

Writing /Composing - (Correspondence/Reports)

Other Skills:
Mathematics, P.C., Word Proc

Work Schedule: Hybrid Telecommuter

Other Requirements: Must be able to interact successfully in a culturally diverse environment.

Equipment Operated: CRT, PC, Facsimile, photocopier, FSS system knowledge, Medifax
